Ranks atop Apple’s Lifestyle ranking for Paid Applications!

(NEW YORK – July 23, 2009) – Sports Illustrated’s “SI Swimsuit 2009” iPhone application, which launched yesterday, is now the number one in the paid lifestyle category.  This marks Sports Illustrated’s first swimsuit application, which pairs sports schedules and scores with SI’s Swimsuit models.

The application is the mobile extension of the SI Swimsuit franchise, which reaches more than 66 million adults, and retails for $2.99.  The application delivers video of SI’s Swimsuit models, hundreds of SI photos and allows users to create their own daily sports calendar, customizable to follow up to six pro or college sports teams. 

SI partnered with Azuki Systems to create the app and it can be downloaded from iTunes, iPhone or apple.com.
